Good Morning Gardiner Hawks! These are your announcements for Wednesday, October 11th
September 15th to October 15th is Hispanic Heritage Month. A Puerto Rican from New York, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, often referred to as AOC, made history in 2019 when she became the youngest woman ever elected to the U.S. Congress as the age of 29.
There will be no school tomorrow or Friday.
Next week we will have a new organization to lunch/recess. If you have first lunch/recess, and you're in iTodos Unidos! you will start at recess. If you're not in iTodos Unidos! you will start at lunch. Then, halfway through, you'll switch.
If you have second lunch, and you're in 8th grade, you will start at recess. If you're in 7th grade you will start at lunch. Then halfway through you'll switch. We'll have more details in Advisory on Monday.
You can pick up applications for Student Council in your neighborhood or in the Welcome Center. They are due no later than October 17th.
