Good Morning Gardiner Hawks! These are your announcements for Tuesday, November 14th

Today, Oregon has nine federally-recognized tribes, or confederations of tribes. This is a drastic reduction from the more than 60 tribes that are known to have inhabited the area. While the entire land area of the state used to belong to Native Americans, currently only approximately 1.6% of land in the state are tribal reservations or trusts.

Spooky Book club and Board Games Club are CANCELED for today!

Dance team starts today: Please meet in the gym as soon as you are changed after school today. We will dance until 5:20. Make sure you have a ride home (activity bus or parent picking you up). If you’re still not sure about dance team, today would be a great day to check it out! Questions? Contact Mrs Tebon in the main office. See ya this afternoon!

Auditions! Auditions! If you are interested in this year’s musical, please come pick up information in the office, and sign up for a day on the sign up sheet in the music suite. Gardiner’s Annual Musical is an after school activity where kids get to try performing in a full length musical on stage for the public. This year's play is “The Sound of Music” and will be held in our very own Gardiner School in Timber Hall. If you are selected rehearsals will be:

Dec 12 - March 11 with performances during the first 2 weekends of March.

If you’re interested, pick a day that works for you, November 28th, 29th, or 30th  and sign up ON THE CHOIR ROOM DOOR soon! Please note, you must arrange for a ride.

The canned food drive will be ongoing through December 1st.  That gives us less than 10 days to gather non-perishable foods to fill the barrels in the foyer by the Welcome Center,  so bring in those cans!
