Good Morning Gardiner Hawks! These are your announcements for Wednesday, November 15th

Today is the last day of American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month. We acknowledge the land on which we sit and occupy today as the traditional home of the tribal nations, Clackamas, Watlala also known as Cascades, Clowwewalla also known as Willamette Tumwaters, and Northern Molalla. All of whom were relocated after signing the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 to the Grand Ronde Reservation and today their descendants are members of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. With gratitude, we look forward to the generations for whom this will be a place of learning.

Auditions! Auditions! If you are interested in this year’s musical, please come pick up information in the office, and sign up for a day on the sign up sheet in the music suite. Gardiner’s Annual Musical is an after school activity where kids get to try performing in a full length musical on stage for the public. This year's play is “The Sound of Music” and will be held in our very own Gardiner School in Timber Hall. If you are selected rehearsals will be:

Dec 12 - March 11 with performances during the first 2 weekends of March.

If you’re interested, pick a day that works for you, November 28th, 29th, or 30th  and sign up ON THE CHOIR ROOM DOOR soon! Please note, you must arrange for a ride.

Student Council is having a canned food drive to help our community.  All food collected will stay in the Oregon City area. We have food barrels located in the front lobby.  This will be going on through December 1st. 

Please help!
