Good Morning Gardiner Hawks! These are your announcements for Monday, April 1st

Welcome Back Gardiner Hawks!!

We also take time today to read our land acknowledgement. This is in front of our school near the office. Come by and take a look! 

We acknowledge the land on which we sit and occupy today as the traditional home of the tribal nations, Clackamas, Watlala also known as Cascades, Clowwewalla also known as Willamette Tumwaters, and Northern Molalla. All of whom were relocated after signing the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 to the Grand Ronde Reservation and today their descendants are members of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. With gratitude, we look forward to the generations for whom this will be a place of learning.

Starting tomorrow some of you will have a new bus route.  Make sure you take time today to check your bus route.  You can find your bus route number by going to the Transportation page of our district website, and then logging into the e-link.  The e-link on the Transportation page of our website is the best way to find your bus route number.

This week kicks off our track and field season with the first meet on Thursday at Gladstone High School!  Let’s go, Gardiner Hawks!  If you know someone on our track and field team, show them some encouragement for their first meet!

Throughout March and April, teachers have been looking for students who demonstrate one of our four big schoolwide expectations: kindness.  In a couple weeks we’ll have a V.I.P. Breakfast and a Recognition Assembly.  Keep spreading kindness, Gardiner!
