September 16, 2024
Good Morning Gardiner Hawks! These are your announcements for Monday, September 16th
Please stand if you’d like to participate in the Pledge of Allegiance. If you choose not to participate, please remain respectfully silent.
I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America, and to the
Republic for which it stands, one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and
justice for all.
You may be seated.
We also take time today to read our land acknowledgement. This is in front of our school near the office. Come by and take a look!
We acknowledge the land on which we sit and occupy today as the traditional home of the tribal nations, Clackamas, Watlala also known as Cascades, Clowwewalla also known as Willamette Tumwaters, and Northern Molalla. All of whom were relocated after signing the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 to the Grand Ronde Reservation and today their descendants are members of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. With gratitude, we look forward to the generations for whom this will be a place of learning.
6th graders in World Cultures with Ms. Orcutt, bring your chromebooks today, Monday.
Picture day is tomorrow! You can order online or bring a paper order form.
The Gardiner Spirit Wear Store is only open for two more weeks. Order your Spirit Wear before September 30th!
