Good Morning Gardiner Hawks! These are your announcements for Wednesday, November 8th

Students in Ms. Orcutt's Spanish 7th and 8th grade classes.  Bring your chromebooks to class today and tomorrow.

Picture retakes are this morning!  Students will be dismissed by neighborhood FIRST for students who haven't had their pictures taken and THEN for retakes.

Here's today's announcement about American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage. Despite having lived in the region for THOUSANDS of years, in the 1850s, Native American were beginning to be displaced. Descendants of Europeans who were moving West from the then-United States, began to make laws that took land from Native Americans. For example, in 1850 The Oregon Donation Land Act only allowed white people to own land in the Oregon Territory.

1st Lunch No Place for Hate will be meeting today in the game room with Mr. Foz. Please join us! This is for first lunch only.

2nd Lunch No Place for Hate will be meeting in the Clackamas neighborhood with Mrs. Blythe.

The PTSO dance is tomorrow, November 9th from 6:30pm-8:00pm and is open to all Gardiner students. Tickets will ONLY be sold in Timber Hall and out front on Wednesday the 8th and Thursday the 9th and are $5 each. Tickets will NOT be sold at the door.

Please remember, there is no school Friday for Veteran’s Day.

      Today’s word is… Dillydally – to waste time by being indecisive or hesitant

 Please do not dillydally when deciding what to eat at lunch.
