Good Morning Gardiner Hawks! These are your announcements for Thursday, March 7th

Today we are on an Extended Advisory Schedule to have time to prepare for College and Career Week next week.  On Friday next week, College and Career Week will culminate with Career Speaker Day!  Today in Advisory, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the guest speakers, and complete a Google Form to share your preferences for sessions you’d like to attend!

Please remember that backpacks need to stay in the neighborhoods at all times. Staff will ask you to take it back to your neighborhood if they see you out and about with it. If a backpack is found outside of the learning neighborhoods it will be taken to the office and you can pick it up at the end of the day.

TODAY we will be selling bags of chips at lunch. 10 gotchas for one bag of chips. The chip choices are: Baked Lays, Doritos Flamas, Doritos Spicy Sweet Chilli, and Baked Flaming Hot Cheetos. These will be available for purchase while they last, and be ready because they will sell quickly!

We are taking a break from popping bags of popcorn at lunch. It has been quite messy so we are asking that no popcorn be popped at lunches.

If you are using the swings out at recess, please remember to be respectful, responsible, sage, and kind.  There is only one person allowed on each swing at a time.  We are asking that we do not push each other.  If you use the swing, you should be moving yourself.  All others should keep your hands to yourselves.

There is no school tomorrow, Friday, March 8th.  Teachers are preparing the first Progress Reports for Semester 2.

This is the closing weekend of our annual musical theatre production.  Come see The Sound of Music Friday at 7pm, Saturday at 2pm, or Saturday at 7pm.  Tickets are $7, paid in cash at the door.  The doors open for ticket sales at 6:30pm or 1:30pm (30 minutes before show time).  Come support the students and staff who have put months of effort into this show! You don’t want to miss out!

Please remember that if you are attending The Sound of Music you will need to attend with an adult.

Please check Lost and Found for anything that belongs to you.  It is located across from the Timber Hall restrooms, against the side of the Learning Stairs.  It is almost time for us to donate the items to a local charity.
