Good Morning Gardiner Hawks! These are your announcements for Monday, February 5th

We also take time today to read our land acknowledgement. This is in front of our school near the office. Come by and take a look! 

We acknowledge the land on which we sit and occupy today as the traditional home of the tribal nations, Clackamas, Watlala also known as Cascades, Clowwewalla also known as Willamette Tumwaters, and Northern Molalla. All of whom were relocated after signing the Willamette Valley Treaty of 1855 to the Grand Ronde Reservation and today their descendants are members of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde. With gratitude, we look forward to the generations for whom this will be a place of learning.

This week is National School Counseling Week.  Each day this week, we’ll take a moment to recognize our outstanding School Counselors, Mrs. Shelton and Ms. Hernandez!  Throughout this week, we challenge you to write a thank you note, send an appreciation email, share a “thank you” when you pass in the halls, and find ways to share your appreciation for our fantastic school counselors.

Congratulations to our Gardiner dance team who came home with a first place trophy from Saturday’s dance competition! Way to go, dancers! The coaches are so proud!

 Gardiner’s Ski Bus begins this Friday, February 9th!!  Please be at the school no later than 12:45 p.m. to load and board.  The bus will leave promptly at 1:00 p.m. since there is no school on Friday.

Last weeks Gotcha drawing winners are Miley Sprecher and Ella Thompson.  Our staff winner for last week is David Faulkner.  Congratulations!  Remember to bring your Gotcha’s to the Welcome Center and load up the now empty Gotcha box!!
