*** No Payments Will Be Accepted During Class Time ***

Do you enjoy health and helping others? A career as a dental hygienist might be right for you! Dental hygienists provide preventative oral care under a dentist's supervision. They clean patients' teeth and examine their mouths for signs of damage, gingivitis, and other diseases. Hygienists teach patients how to maintain good oral health.

Dental hygenists also schedule appointments and keep records and may take and develop X-rays. Unlike dental hygienists, they do not clean or examine patients' teeth, but in some states, they are allowed to apply sealants and fluoride.

Education needed to be a dental hygienist includes an associates degree. Dental hygienists can earn anywhere from $52,000 a year to $74, 000 a year.

Students, yesterday you should have received your new Semester 2 planner. Gardiner Hawks are responsible, organized and use their planners daily to record what they did in class, and what they still need to do! This is a school-wide expectation, and we love to see students meet this goal during binder/planner checks!

This semester, our new and fabulous Gardiner Hawk mascot will be calling random students to the office at the end of the day.  At this time, we will announce for you to bring your planner with you. Students, who have a completed planner for the day and/or week, will earn prizes from the Hawk's Nest!

Be ready, so when your name is called... we can celebrate YOUR commitment to staying organized and being a great student! Fill out those planners GMS, let's finish the second part of the year Gardiner Strong!

This Friday there is no school.  If you are riding the Ski Bus from Tumwata, you will depart this Friday at 1:00 p.m.  Please be there no later than 12:45 p.m.  This will be your last bus from Tumwata.  If you are riding the ski bus from Gardiner, your first bus will leave Gardiner on Friday, February 9th at 1:00 p.m.  Please be at the school no later than 12:45 p.m. to load and board.
