Good Morning Gardiner Hawks! These are your announcements for Thursday, February 8th
*** Please Remember that Payments for Field Trips and Activities can be made in the Welcome Center Before School, After School and at Both Lunches Only ***
*** No Payments Will Be Accepted During Class Time ***
The Student Store is open today after school! We are open every Tuesday and Thursday after school and there are MANY new items to buy!
Goldfish Crackers, Izzes, and fruit snacks are just a few! All food items cost $1.00 each!
We also sell school supplies and binders if you need a new one for semester 2. They are a good price!
This week is National School Counseling Week. Each day this week, we’ll take a moment to recognize our outstanding School Counselors, Mrs. Shelton and Ms. Hernandez! Today we highlight the work they do to help all of us feel supported and focused on learning. Inside the Student Services Office, they’ve created the original Rest and Return Room: a space where students can go for 10-minute reset if things are getting overwhelming. In addition to that, they received funds from a grant to create mini-Rest and Return Rooms in Learning Neighborhoods throughout the building.
The Ski bus will be leaving Gardiner tomorrow promptly at 1:00 p.m. since there is no school. If you are riding the ski bus, please be here to load no later than 12:45 p.m. You MUST have turned in your consent form in order to participate.
FYI- We are now back to using plastic utensils in the cafeteria. We no longer have enough metal utensils.
Mrs. Blythe's No Place for Hate group will NOT meet today; we will meet next week.
The latest edition of the Gardiner Gazette is out! There are some copies available in neighborhoods and the library, and soon you can access the newspaper through the school website under the Academics link at the top of the page.
The Brain Break Club will be meeting during 2nd lunch in the Welcome Center. Students can bring their lunches with them.
If you choose to chew gum, please be responsible and throw it in the garbage can when you are done with it. Thank you!
Joke of the Day:
How does a scientist freshen his breath?
With experi-mints!
Today’s lunch options from the kitchen include:
