¡Todos Unidos! dual language Immersion Program

Students in Oregon City have the unique opportunity to participate in a Spanish Dual Language Program.  Students are able to develop skill in a second language in a similar manner to the way that they have learned their first .  In addition to the ability to understand and speak more than one language, research shows that students who are bilingual gain additional cognitive, academic and employment benefits, as well.

  •  ¡Todos Unidos! students at Gardiner come from the K-5 Candy Lane Elementary School;

  • We offer a warm, inclusive atmosphere, where all students are welcome and celebrated for their unique backgrounds and abilities;

  • To maintain a quality program, we strive to enroll about half English Speakers and half Spanish speakers;

  • All students learn practice reading & writing in Spanish and English throughout every school day in a 50/50 model;

  • Our program combines academic rigor with scaffolded language support and creates conditions for all students to thrive in both English and Spanish;

  • Transportation is provided for students that live within the Oregon City School District boundary to Candy Lane (K-5), and Gardiner Middle School (6-8) to participate in ¡Todos Unidos!  (Routes may be longer than to your attendance area school.);
