Happy Spirit Week!  

  Today is Future Career Day!  What is YOUR future career??

Tomorrow is Colors Day!  Let’s have the school filled with color!!

  Thursday will be Throwback to Spring Break (wear PJ’s, traveler’s clothes, what you wore on vacation, etc.)

Friday is OC Spirit Day!!

Do you enjoy figuring out how electrical things work? A career as an electrical engineer might be right for you! Electrical engineers develop and design electrical equipment, including cars, aircraft, communication systems, motors, radar, and navigation systems.  

Electrical engineers’ responsibilities  include:

• Developing or improving products using electrical power

• Manufacturing, constructing, and installing electrical products

• Doing performance and reliability testing on electrical equipment

• Problem-solving the reasons for broken or damaged electrical equipment 

Education to become an electrical engineer includes a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering. Students in middle and high school who are interested in electrical engineering can attend engineering summer camps that take place on college campuses. 

Electrical engineers earn an average salary of $97,000 a year. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that employment of electrical engineers will grow 7 percent through 2026. 

Please remember that we are tracking criteria to participate in the end of the year celebration activities for each grade level.  The end of year celebrations are a really cool day to get off campus, celebrate what we’ve done this year, and have some fun!  We want to make sure you finish the year strong by being respectful, responsible, safe and kind!  Starting today, through the celebration day we want to to encourage to ask yourself about your choices:

Is it respectful?

Is it responsible?

Is it safe?

Is it kind?
